A summary of the main events of the Montelibero movement in figures and facts:
12/15/2020 The first libertarian family from the future Montelibero community moves from Kiev to Budva: the first step towards a Free Society Project in Europe (FSPE) has been made.
02/26/2021 The first article about the FSPE has been published, which can be considered the formal launch of the Montelibero movement.
03/02/2021 At the start of the project, the popular libertarian blogger Ankap-chan joins its co-founders.
03/17/2021 A website of the movement has been created, the formation of its communication network has begun, the main nodes of which are Russian-language and English-language channels and chats of the project in a telegram and the youtube-channel of the community. Twitter (1, 2) and Instagram accounts, a page and a group on Facebook and VKontakte were added during the year.
04/23/2021 The community tokenomics begins to form — its digital economic infrastructure. Its core is the collective emission and distribution accounts of the MTL investment fund with the token of the same name. The fund, with the help of an investment and dividend mechanism and an open share management scheme, ensures the consolidation and efficient use of the general resources of the movement.
04/30/2021 A campaign for the selection, crowdfunding and acquisition of a land plot for the construction of MTLCITY — the first settlement of Montelibero participants and the location of its office — starts.
05/22/2021 The Montelibero community in Montenegro is replenished with the first settlers within the framework of the project. By the end of 2021, 21 participants in the movement are permanently residing in the country.
05/29/2021 The project was publicly supported by the Sistading Institute and its founder, Patry Friedman.
06/01/2021 EURMTL was created — MTL-fund’s own stablecoin, which makes it easy, efficient and safe to carry out internal settlements and cross-border exchange of various assets with the support of a network of guarantors, which already covers 11 countries. By the end of the year, 169 people had made transactions in the EURMTL system for more than half a million euros.
06/03/2021 To implement the economic interests of the community in Montenegro, a local legal entity of the same name was established.
06/14/2021 Declaration on the principles of movement published (in Russian).
06/18/2021 The first video was released, popularly explaining the content of the project
08/12/2021 The transaction for the acquisition of 10,154 square meters of land in the municipality of Bar for MTLCITY was completed, with the transfer to the balance sheet of Montelibero LLC in Montenegro with the corresponding entry in the local property register (1, 2).
08/30/2021 An informal meeting of FSPE activists with influential libertarian public figure Vera Kichanova took place in Montenegro.
09/01/2021 The regular publication of the financial statements of the MTL fund has begun. Information about the financial structure of the Fund, updated in real time, is posted in the Google cloud with access by the link.
09/20/2021 A series of interviews with project participants was released on YouTube.
10/01/2021 MTLCITY area cleared and prepared for preliminary zoning and planning for development.
11/05/2021 The preliminary distribution of the MTLCITY plot between 17 landowners has been completed, and the procedure for the official demarcation and privatization of land has been launched.
11/19/2021 The Basic Income program was launched, which allows incentivizing movement participants living in Montenegro with weekly payments from a charitable foundation with a public address on the Stellar platform.
11/29/2021 A new tool for the development of the community economy has been created — tokenized gold in the MTL digital ecosystem.

12/21/2021 The construction and strengthening of the main road to MTLCITY with a length of 430 meters has been completed.
12/24/2021 The EURMTL component has been added to the Basic Income program, which allows you to significantly increase weekly payments to participants without freezing capital.
