Statement by the organizing committee of ‘Libertarian International’ and the Council of ‘Montelibero Association’
Congratulations to the freedom-loving citizens of Argentina and global supporters of liberty on the election of Javier Milei as President of the country. This truly historic moment convincingly demonstrates that a politician advocating for a public anarcho-capitalist stance can thrive in free democratic elections. This success has the potential to serve as a replicable model for other nations.
While acknowledging the significance of this local triumph for libertarianism in Argentina, we recognize the extensive and challenging journey ahead toward the practical establishment of a fully realized and sustainable post-state. There will undoubtedly be numerous challenges along this journey, yet today, the primary obstacle has been significantly disrupted – societal skepticism, widespread doubt in one’s own capabilities, and a general disbelief in the potential triumph of radical libertarian forces in public electoral processes.
We hope that Javier Milei’s victory will inspire freedom advocates worldwide, fostering a renewed belief in their own capacities. To our Argentine friends, we extend our best wishes for success in consolidating and advancing these achievements through the practical implementation of libertarian reforms. We will closely monitor and support their experiences with our modest resources, optimistic about the collective success in upholding the cause of freedom.

Поздравляем свободолюбивых граждан Аргентины и приверженцев свободы во всём мире с избранием президентом страны Хавьера Милея. Это поистине историческое событие убедительно доказывает, что политик с публичной анархо-капиталистической позицией может добиться успеха на свободных демократических выборах. И этот успех вполне может стать образцом для повторения в других странах.
Мы осознаём, что не стоит слишком обольщаться этой локальной победой либертарианства в отдельно взятой стране. Нам всем предстоит проделать ещё очень долгий и тернистый путь до практического создания полноценного и устойчивого постгосударства. На этом пути будет ещё много препятствий, но сегодня было основательно поколеблено главное из них — социальный скептицизм, массовое неверие в собственные силы и в саму возможность победы радикальных либертарианских сил в публичных электоральных процессах.
Надеемся, что победа Хавьера Милея поможет сторонникам свободы во всех странах укрепить веру в себя и свои возможности. Аргентинским соратникам мы желаем скорейшего закрепления и развития этого достижения в практической реализации либертарианских реформ. Будем внимательно следить за их опытом, помогать нашими скромными ресурсами и надеяться на успех нашего общего дела защиты свободы.
